(LOL) I was so caught up in whining about the legibility issues posed by the grey-and-khaki look that I didn't even consider that it had been painted over her favorite color. I sense some color adjustments looming on the horizon. :-)

Yep. The only hard-to-read thing is where blue hyperlinks appear on a dark purple background, as in the comment headers. It doesn't remind me of Redmond Simonsen anymore, but that seems like a small price to pay for practicality--and keeping your girlfriend happy.

This is much, much better. Purple is almost as good as blue, and I actually like the layout of this format better.

You know I had adopted blue as my new favourite colour, in place of green? Apres tu, ma cherie. Hence the plates and glasses. If you really like blue better, I can change the LJ setting; I only picked pueple because I thought you liked it better.

Now, when do we get to work on your LJ? I think we need some icons and some styles, but most of all we need some text. :-) It's not hard--just look at Judy. :-)

Blue. Blue is definitiely my favorite color. Purple is second. I don't think that my color preferences should be shaping your site format, though (as long as you avoid hideous color schemes like that taupe/grey/camoflauge-y thing... yecch). The purple is lovely.

Well, I don't like this light lavender for the links, but it works better than the mid purple. It's funny; it has a separate comment header colour, but not a comment link header colour.

Try white or better yet cream (the problem with the lavender is that it's too pink) and I expect you'll be good to go.
