and I thought I coudn't be more ticked off
Apr. 7th, 2005 05:40 amThe cats woke me up at 5.20. And now I'm A-W-A-K-E. My wonderfully soporific sweetie is not here, generating sleep waves the wonderful way she does. I'm left to my native powers of going back to sleep. Which are, yes, nonexistant.
This sucks.
This sucks.

I am, quite literally, laughing out loud. Which is, I'm sure, more than you did at the time. But that just goes to confirm my impression that your daughter is way up there in the pantheon of charming kids.
And, yes, I suppose I can look on experiences like this morning as practice for later life. Becaus I know who won't be getting out of bed at 0 dark 30 to deal with wee ones, or anything short of a nuclear explosion...
