The cats woke me up at 5.20. And now I'm A-W-A-K-E. My wonderfully soporific sweetie is not here, generating sleep waves the wonderful way she does. I'm left to my native powers of going back to sleep. Which are, yes, nonexistant.

This sucks.

And aren't these birds noisy? Spring is so loud.

There's one type of bird in my yard that sounds just like a cell phone ringing. It drives me crazy.
