NB and I have been enjoying having a leisurely weekend where we could do (almost) anything we wanted. We had dinner at Tara Thai last night, then sat around the house with a bottle of wine and all the time in the world for conversation. She did have one errand today (helping out a friend) and she has two news interviews tomorrow (one with CBC News around 11 and one with Fox News on Sunday--eek! I can't recall if it's 1.30 or 2.00). But otherwise we're doing a lot of hanging out and talking, being colonized by cats, and all that goopy staring deeply into each others' eyes and smiling stuff. And the occasional smootch. :-) It's all good.

Consimworld... my friends Bob and Aaron (not LJ people) have both passed on to me information they glean on CSW. I have perhaps avoided much loss of productivity by finding the CSW boards' interface so frustrating that I can't bear to try and read it regularly. Besides, it would just lead me to spend *more* money on games I haven't the time to play, and Nora can tell you the state of my game closet is already drastic...

Now, I do have to try hard not to read bigsoccer.com and Straight Dope (and, in truth) LJ, in the office except very sparingly over lunch, or I will either have to work extra late or commit serious timecard fraud. :-)

OK, I'm in. Having one more potential distraction to resist is a small price to pay to save you from squandering endearments on an undeserving recipient (entertaining though it is).

I am doing my best, and hope to accomplish that for many yeas to come, though I fear she will not be laughing much the next day or two (see my post this morning). :-/
