I went out for just a little bit of exercise, since it's been so long since I've gotten any. I ended up walking most of the two miles, plodding really, though I got up to a jog for at least thirty seconds together a couple of times.
Whoosh. I am *so* out of shape. My legs need some tone, but it's mostly what's been an issue all me life--wind. Even when I played soccer in high school I never had decent wind, and 30 years and many stone of excess baggage have just made it worse.
*sigh* Well, it didn't grow there overnight, so there's no hope thinking that it will go away except over time. And with LOTS more exercise....

Date: 2010-06-20 01:07 pm (UTC)It's actually so as to get back into group exercise that I want to get fit. I find that I quite miss refereeing soccer, but I'm in no shape to run 90 minutes at the moment.
I'll get there, it just takes time and application.
