Seeing 20,000 rabid Honduran fans shut their pieholes and sulk home after their team gets hammered by the US 'odds and sods' side: priceless
Actually, the other truly satisfying incident was seeing one totally out of control US fan scream and rant at the rest of the US supporters for singing in Spanish ("This is AMERICA! AMERICA!" Bwuh? Yeah, so? Lots of Americans speak Spanish) and be so unpleasant that the stewards asked him to leave, and when he wouldn't, a couple of Metro Police "escorted" him from the stands in a full nelson, because he tried to push *them*. Idiot.
Shouting (the good kind), singing, clapping, cheering, baloons, beer showers, smoke bombs...I don't want to sit in the supporters' section every match, but for national team fixtures, it feels good.

redactrice, Nicole the Ticket Mistress asked after you and was very glad to hear you're coming back to DC for a while; she didn't even ask if you'd come and work in the (new, fancy) ticket booth--I think she's just glad you'll be back in town.
