My alma mater has received a bequest containing Baynes' working library and a great quantity of her work.

Tolkien?? She did TOLKIEN?? Got to get my hands on that! She was pretty much the reason I loved C.S. Lewis as I did as a child -- when my first set of the books totally fell apart, I was so disappointed to find that their replacements didn't have her illustrations!

What I'm most familiar with is her map of Middle Earth. I'm trying to think if I've ever seen much more than that...
