winterbadgerI've reconciled myself to not having a vacation for another couple of months (it's been over a year), but the relentless (and probably imaginary) "Catriona at VisitScotland" keep bombarding me with suggestions for Caledonian getaways. The latest urges me to sample "Deserted white sand beaches and cool breezes; it’s not the Caribbean but the west coast of Scotland! With the strong dollar, now is the time to book your vacation and experience all that Scotland has to offer."
It *does* look a little like the Caribbean... but I bet there aren't coral reefs and cool fishies to see, like my buddies are seeing off Roatan!
Still, spring is pretty nice in DC (now that I've stopped sneezing 24/7), and it's Friday, so I can't complain.
