We have a room for rent in our group house because a roomie is moving to Baltimore. Please pass it on. It's a great space, and only $575. Details below.

Bright sunny upstairs room in beautiful, updated Takoma, D.C. bungalow. Share with 2F, 1M science teachers and writers.
It’s a beautiful, bright and sunny house. W/D, Dishwasher, Huge fenced backyard, 2 big porches, hardwood floors, lovely sun room, nice kitchen, 2 1/2 baths. Room for a garden in the backyard if you have a green thumb. One block from grocery store, two blocks to drugstore, garage, plenty of free on-street parking (but car not required), Metro Red Line is 6-7 blocks away. 15-minute metro ride to downtown D.C. 1 block from bus to Silver Sping – a 5-10 minute ride, or a short bike ride.
The room is medium-sized (current roommate has a queen-sized bed in there, but full-sized bed would make it more spacious) has a walk-in closet closet, three big south-facing windows, new A/C unit. If you’re not a morning person or a heavy sleeper, this might not be the room for you, because the sun will wake you up!
MUST love dogs. We have two wonderful dogs (1 years and 3 years and full of energy). Rent discount for doggie care. Sometimes they bark and play rather rambunctiously. Must be mellow/easygoing, and tolerant of people getting up at 5 AM when the teachers get ready for school (it NEVER wakes me up), and acoustic instruments (we play regularly). Looking for a respectful person who cleans up after themselves, enjoys sharing a beer or dinner occasionally. We are all very busy, so we don’t have time to keep an immaculate house, so if you like it spotless, this probably isn’t the house for you. We’re liberal-leaning, humanistic types. We enjoy camping, improv, movies, and all things science. NS preferred.
$575 per month plus utilities (usually runs $75/mo. per person) and deposit. 6 months-1 year commitment preferred. Less than 6 months = $600 per month.
