ban_leodhasach suggested that one place we might want to see while I'm there is Rosslyn Chapel (and I agree--while I'm not a big fan of Dan Brown and I *don't* believe the Knights Templar are secretly running the world, I think it would be beyond cool to see the chapel).

I was looking at the chapel's website and thinking what a beautiful and fascinating place it must be. "I'll have to find a booklet with lots of good pictures and text about it to bring back for Dad," I thought.

Well, of course, I'd better not.

But I will be sure and think of him when I visit it.

I did that when my mother-in-law passed away. I used to buy her windchimes whenever I'd come over here, she loved them. Once I came over here after she died, I saw a set of them and picked them up, thinking, "Oh, Louise would like ..." then I remembered. I stood there, looking at those windchimes and cried.
