Edinburgh meet-up

OK, two weeks today I'll be getting on a plane! (Well, OK, in the afternoon). Yay! :-)

Any more thoughts from E'burgh friends about a meet-up dinner during that week(Feb. 2-7)? Last time, I think there may have been a suggestion that Tuesday night might be good? And Rho suggested Kalpna, David Bann's, Henderson's, or Annapurna as places to go.

Tuesday or Wednesday would be ok for me. No suggestions of places to go because I don't get out enough to come up with any, but from what I've heard, all of the above should be good choices.

I can second that. All four of those are brilliant. My particular favorite is David Bann's.

Don't know if I'll be down that direction, but if I am I'd love to come along.

Are you not coming north of the Firth? I work til 5 during the week and with the kids at home and that being the week before the move, it'll be difficult for me to arrange anything .... =(

I probably shan't be traveling north, as my native guide has lots of plans for showing me around East Lothian. But unless something changes drastically, I'll be moving over there in the not too distant future, so we'll have plenty of chances to meet up then! :-)

With you guys about to move, that's probably going to need all your time and attention anyway--all the times I've done that, I've *never* been ready when I thought I would be!!

I would vote for Kalpna. Several times. And I could do Wednesday or Thursday that week - or Monday if I came along around 8:30 or so.
