I've just watched Nicholas taking a whizz in the toilet.

Toilet trained HIMSELF, this cat.

I have to say, I think that's pretty remarkable.

LOL. Of course not--he's a BOY cat. :-) He doesn't flush either! (And I devoutly hope he doesn't learn how--I've actually noticed Busby watching the the swirl in the bowl with fascination when I flush... Thankfully I don't pay the water bill...)

Actually, *I* usually put the seat down, and he sits on the edge of the seat. I'm a bit nervous about putting the seat up; he's agile, but I have a vision of a bad circumstance in which cat, expecting wooden seat, leaps up onto edge of toilet, encounters slippery porcelain, and... *splash*
