I've seen two so far, both on my apartment parking lot. One (Tuesday evening) must have recently left its nymph shell--it was still half cream-colored and didn't look dry yet. This morning's was on the pavement behind my car (they like heat, and the pavement was HOT). The pollen this year is bad enough on my car--I'm not looking forward to lots of bug bodies. Especially since I like to leave my sunroof popped a little to let the heat out when I have to park in the sun at work. The thought of dealing with them in my parents' pool, which is surrounded on three sides by trees (many of which are 60+ years old and perfect cicada breeding ground), just icks me. I imagine we'll be skimming them out until July.
