I've never shopped on Black Friday. I hate to see how greedy people can be - grown people snatching toys out of the hands of children, taking items out of strangers' baskets, people getting into fights over a stupid toy that their kid will only play with for a few months and then will sit in a toybox forever until it goes into a garage sale ... and now this??? Disgusting. I hope they DO figure out who's responsible but the whole community seems to be at fault here and should be ashamed! Horrible!
Used to be that one of the Edinburgh department stores, Wilkies (small, family owned local department store) did amazing bargains for the start of the January sale - there was always a wedding dress valued at thousands for sale for £1.00, for example - but the queue always remained orderly (mind you, we were pretty cold)
