And what is it that McCain is going to do when he gets to Washington, given that he doesn't sit on the Senate banking committee, the finance committee, the budget committee, or the appropriations committee? or the subcommittees on Financial Services and General Government; Economic Policy; Financial Institutions; Securities, Insurance and Investment; or Security and International Trade and Finance?

He's being Presidential. All the pooh flinging monkeys with the vote will point and say, "McCain is being a leader." The mear fact that he's not on any of the right committee's is not important. The average a-mar-a-kin thinks they are all shouting at each other in the main chamber.

I can honestly say that I have never been so angry about any political campaign like I have about this one. The first Bush campaign was bad, the second was worse, but this tops any other campaign I've encountered with shenanigans. cluelessness and disgusting behaviour.

I also read today that an effigy of Obama was found hanging from a tree at a US University.

I'm apalled.

This is approaching 18th century political campaigning in terms of its vileness.

I just posted about it in my journal in case others hadn't heard about it. It was a story that wasn't exactly top of the news.
