I don't watch the Superbowl, even for the commercials. Heck, I don't usually watch commercials. So it took me a little while to see this one. Pretty funny; it took me a couple of viewings to notice that the driver isn't visible at all while the car is in motion.

I actually watched the "making of" video, which was somewhat interesting. I can't figure out why the ad exec keeps talking about "Europe". Does he (a) feel he needs to accentuate that they work in Europe as a whole and doesn't want to say "France" for fear of making it sound like they're only interested in one country, (b) not want to say the word "France" to an American audience, (c) not actually know that it's all filmed in Paris, which is the capital of France, and which is only one of dozens of countries in France?

I still love that icon. We need to introduce Neta to Flashman one of these evenings...

OK, Romans, English, Germans (at least twice), Americans...still not dozens. May feel like it if your French though.

Neta, I think, would dislike the movie. She might like the books.

We can watch it sometime we're all about, since we know you and I (and I think Peter) will like it, and N can always find other entertainment (crocheting, scrapbooking, messing about with flame/steam, renaming the cats) if it's not her cup of tea.
