That is a riot. What a stretch of the imagination. I'll tell you what I discovered about them - as a teacher, I had to learn the stages of language development. The four names of the teletubbies represent the four stages of language development: Po - one syllable, La-La - two syllables, Dipsy - two unlike syllables, and Tinky-Winky - complex syllables. They progress just like children progress as they acquire language. I can't speak for the rest, as watching them makes me puke. But I think they are quite harmless, albeit incredibly odd.
