soccer_fox went off on Sunday to beard the recalcitrant jeweler in her lair. She simply refused to leave until Ms. Cooper had made the appropriate credit to my bank card. The credit was processed and today, finally, it posted. All hail, Neta, Stalker, Fighter, Gripper, Biter, Neta the Determined, Neta the Victorious!

Honestly, I thought we were going to have to go to court to get this money back. And, reluctantly, I would have done so; $800 is just not a sum of money I'm prepared to let slip away.

Even at the last, Ms. Cooper apparently came up with several more odd stories and excuses, so I would strongly advise anyone looking for jewelry to find some more reliable source of bling. But at least our long personal nightmare is over...
