Our client a prestigious city centre based publishing company are now seeking a Technical Editor .The salary is from £15k depending on skills and experience

The main purpose of the role is to take SGML files through to publication in 3B2 typesetting programme, checking proofs, taking in editor corrections, preparing journals for press and taking responsibility through to publication

You as the successful candidate will also be setting and managing in house specialist journals using Pagemaker/Quark and taking responsibility through to publication

Additionally you will be providing 1st line support of all supported desktop and related equipment within the company
