As for waltz, there's a lesson (good instructor) and dance this Sunday afternoon at Glen Echo Park (off of Cabin John off of 495), though I will probably be out of town. All of the above dances are available at Glen Echo, though slow blues is usually only a song or two at a swing dance.

I would like to learn some country dancing one of these days. I did some period line dancing in the SCA in high school and I've been to one or two dances at 18th century reenactments. And I enjoyed watching the dancing in the Scottish culture part of last year's Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Chris and I have meant for years to join a Scottish country dance group, just haven't ever got around to it.
