And, yes, there's a gap between Cumbria and, well, everywhere else. I got there by train, and I don't really count taking a train through Yorkshire and the midlands as qualifying as 'visited' them.

Really all of Yorkshire I've seen is York itself, but York is a pretty darn neat place - and Wales is lovely.

Leaving out anywhere that I've only been as a kid too young to remember it (i.e. North Wales and a couple of bits of the North and Midlands), anywhere I've only travelled through enroute to somewhere else, and anywhere that evidently didn't make anough of an impression that I remember having been there:

Never been to Scotland, although two of my three siblings have both spent time living in Edinburgh.
