I did enjoy having my lovely vacation in CBI! (I still need to write up my journal entries or that...)

However, it meant I couldn't take the time to go to the Blas Festival in September or to go to the second annual Perthshire Amber Festival last weekend, which sounds like it was wonderful!

Maybe next year...

Ah, Blas. Scariest couple of concerts of my brief life involved introducing our acts bilingually, with my favorite grammar teacher in the audience. I only had to do it three of four times, but it was really stressful. As was evident in the Julie Fowlis concert, I imagine :)

You were beautiful, amazingly bilingual, a little nervous, but tremendously poised. :-) Which is how I tend to assume you always are. :-)
