OK, I've gotten my first spam comment. I hope this is not the start of a trend. In any case, be aware that (a) spammers are now hitting LJ and (b) there's something to do about it.

Yeah, that's been an issue for a while now, especially in the communities--I can mark entire entries as spam if necessary. I didn't think it was on the rise, though. Bad luck on your part, maybe?

Yep, just my "lucky" day, I guess. :-) What astonishes me is the persistence of people like this--it's an awful lot of effort for (I would hope!) very little return.
