So, Newcastle proved the more resilient of my two teams today. They scored, suffered a tying goal, and scored again. DC just did the first two. :-( Better than if they'd missed out the first, but...

Sunny day, big puffy clouds, sunshine, beer, footy. Would it have been better with a sweetheart next to me who enjoyed the game? Yes, but it was a fun day by itself. Another DC goal would have been good to.

And what I would give to live on the 900 block of East Capitol Street! *sigh*

I hope DC gets out of the funk they've been in recently. And I can't think of a better team to do that against but the scum. :) Luckily the temps should be cooler in the evening because it was simply much too hot on Saturday.
