Not mine!!!!
A friend of mine sent me this in an email:
Although I'm excited and happy to be getting married to Matt, this is a
bittersweet time for me. The love of my life is severely allergic to my
other loves--my cats, Sig and Odin.

These sweethearts didn't ask for me to be their "mom," but I made a
commitment to them 7 years ago that I would take care of them. I feel
terribly guilty that I can't honor that commitment. These are the sweetest,
most lovable guys, and I'm ashamed that I now have to find them a new home.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, please let me know, and I'd
love to have you over to my place in Reston to meet the boys. Although they
are littermates and I'd like to see them stay together, they might be OK in
separate homes. If so, Odin (the white one) would probably love to be an
only cat. As long as you give him enough attention! Sig is the one with the
tail; he's very playful and social and would probably like another cat in
the home to keep him occupied. Both are a very young 7 years old, love to be
brushed, still have their claws (they don't like to have them clipped, but
they tolerate it), and are very much lap cats.

If you have any questions, let me know. Please pass this along to anyone you
know who might be interested.

I can attest that they are lovely, charming, good-natured cats; they've come and stayed here (upstairs with Chris and Mel, since they have a spare room that can be closed off) in the past when their mistress (a friend of mine from a former job) was moving house.

(That's not her cats in the icon--it's just the only multi-cat icon I have.)

As someone who is severely allergic to dogs, I feel for this person. :-(
