Eh, de la rose et le croix, peut etre, mais j'ai pense de l'Ecosse et la France. Que dans l'Ecosse ils appelannt "the Auld Alliance".

I have clearly exhausted my command of French at this point, especially since I've said crux and not croix, as I should have known.
