bike--quick post
Mar. 31st, 2006 09:16 amReally quick.
*Beautiful* day! Wish I could just take Rupert down to the Potomac or to Prince William Park and cycle for hours. But must work...
Very pleasant ride this morning; did route 2 plus the loop again. 2.6 miles, 18 minutes. Pushed a little harder than usual, but I also had somme shifting trouble on the hill up Crestview.
Lots of flowers and flowering trees in bloom, warm air, breezes, lovely!
Shower time!

Date: 2006-03-31 02:51 pm (UTC)Accotink is only a few streets away. If you take it to the Fairfax end, you can cross 50 to the Fairfax Connector Trail which gets you to Nottaway Park. Then Courthouse Road can get you to Vienna Community Center and the W&OD. Involves a little bit of road riding, but it's not bad. Mostly flat with a little hill at 50, another near Vienna metro, and one on Courthouse near Nutley.
Sounds like you're about ready to expand your ride.
