So it looks like I have a res for Tuesday, here.

On the strength of which, I booked a morning outing with these folks.

This looks super too! I might do that Friday morning...

Edit: ...and Wednesday night is taken care of too, it would seem. Yay! Just have to find places to stay Thursday and Friday.

Look you!! You're making me envious! As it is I desperately need a holiday and the upcoming three day will be spent happily exhausted celebrating the nuptials of two lovely friends. *wags finger*

Did I figner waggle you and forget? How embarassing! *sheepish look* Oh, opps... forget the sheepish look, you are in a Scottish kind of mood this morning!

I was told repeatedly that Labor Day weekend was off limits. I think they would have hunted me down should I have scheduled something for then. I was afterall, there at the beginning of their courtship and have now been asked to do one of the readings.

Vacuum: I would have been hard pressed to not take said attachment to the roomies for illustration and up-keep.

Tsk tsk!

I will post a note to myself on my journal to confirm which train I'm on for Sunday. So we're on the same page... if it's 12:30 or 1:30 do you want to have lunch (brunch, meal, etc) or do you plan to have satified any hunger pangs prior to meeting up? I'm presuming that you are taking the Metro into Union Station?

Sunday: I don't know how parking is around Union Station. I can reliably say that the garage there charges insane prices. $10 for less than 2 hours. Something is radically wrong there! It's obviously your choice but there's more information to ponder.

Fooding it is. Figure it might make sense to be on a similar hunger level. Don't need you fainting on me for lack of nourishment.

I fully expect a brat to remember to say this within the first five minutes of meeting on Sunday. That's how bratty I am.

*throws down the gauntlet*

Cool... I've got that background in archaeology. Mind if I lay out a grid and dig a few test pits?

Why not. But now you've got me thinking about men in plaid. *bad badger, bad bad bad*

My mother knows better. Or at least she should. If she doesn't - I feel you'd be a great teacher.

On the other hand, deep fried Mars bars....yum!

Oh, that all looks wonderful. I'm so glad you're staying in Elgol. I remember from my researchs that the road to Elgol is supposed to be one of most beautiful drives in Western Scotland.

I can't wait to see your pictures and hear your stories.

Nah. It's a Fuji Finepix S3100. Consumer Reports recommeded it as good value for money (about $200). You're welcome to take it with you if you'd like, as long as you don't drop it in some loch. :-)
