I am tired

I am very, very tired. I don't know why, since I got a fair amount of sleep, but I am just exhausted.

There seems to be a lot of that around today. Both shy_kat and I had even more trouble than usual getting out of bed this morning.

Just a few more hours to get through, and then you can go home and relax (I hope). Not to mention sleeping in tomorrow. :-)

I'm taking the day off to do home-repair and decorating, some Xmas shopping, and go to the DC United equipment sale :-) (which may also end up being Xmas shopping...)

I spoke with Dad briefly around Thanksgiving; it was, indeed, exhausting (to one's patience). Is it really impossible, in this nation of advanced technology, to build hearing aids that actualyl *work*? I know he pays out huge sums of money for them. Does he, like the woman on Fawlty Towers, keep them turned off so the battery doesn't run down?
