Jammin Java, a coffee house and music venue near me in Vienna, has two acts this week I'd like to hear (at least, I know I'd like to hear the Friday act, and I think the Thursday one sounds great). Anyone else interested in going?

Wolfstone
Highland music is recognised world wide as a unique treasure and Wolfstone, the shining jewel in its crown. From its birth in 1989 the band has followed its very own Highland roots and delivered the passion that is contained within them onto the international stage. I heard something by Wolfstone on WETA Saturday night and enjoyed it. Too bad I have a professional event on Thursday night and a friend's birthday bash on Friday night....

Dammit, I'm busy on Friday night. The Nields have been on my "must get around to seeing one of their gigs someday" list for four or five years, because they're recommended so often by fans of Dar Williams, and it would have been an opportunity to finally meet you :)

Can I get a raincheck for next time?

Sure! And I'm wanting to see them because they opened for Dar the last time she was at the Birchmere, and I enjoyed them. :-)

I fear I'm not as keen on the Nields as you are (based on listening to the CD you have), but ordinarily you couldn't keep me away from Wolfstone. But shy_kat is going to Chattanooga for a long weekend on Friday morning, so Thursday night I'd rather help her pack and spend some quality time together.

Next time, though, count me in!
