Temperature down in the normal range since last night, but lingering shoulder and neck stiffness and endurance still around 75%. Helping Chris pack/unpack the car for the tailgate pretty much wiped me for half an hour or so. I had a nice time hanging with DG last night as they triaged their photos from Canada to see which ones they should get reprinted (the first place that printed them totally messed up the processing). But dinner was two pieces of whole wheat toast: all is not quite right in Gotham yet. But at least DCU kicked some (Dall)ass! :-)

Date: 2004-09-12 03:39 pm (UTC)Did you want to get out of the house for dinner (my treat)? Or do you want some of the gumbo I made? I know your tummy is still a bit upset.
Or do you want to wait until later this week?
I am not picky either way, and I want *you* to feel comfortable.

Date: 2004-09-12 05:03 pm (UTC)I've got some stuff to do around here, including some cleaning that should take place whether I'm having company or not. :-) I'm sure that after I've done that I won't want to go out (I'm something of a cave- (sett-)hugging badger, after all). I'd welcome company while I'm doing all this (if you don't mind that I'll look quite a frazzle) or afterwards, and if company happened to bring some gumbo, all the better. :-)
On the other hand, I also know there are several movies I want to see out in theaters right now and later in the week (maybe Thursday?) I'd be up for going to the cinema, if anyone would care to join me.

Date: 2004-09-12 05:25 pm (UTC)I'll need directions, please email me.
And...if you start feeling bad do not hesitate to let me know for a reschedule. I am very laid back about this sort of thing.
