Right now. And be on one of those boats. The only times I've gone sailing (mostly for an afternoon, but once for, what was it, a week? a week and a half?) I've loved it. Scotland + sailing? I can only imagine that it would be as close to heaven as I can easily imagine. One of my neighbors is selling a rather beat-up-looking twentysome-footer for about $2,000, and it's taking all my willpower not to at least go over and look at it...

1. Yes, but (a) Jim is one of those people who magically manage to have trouble pouring piss out of a boot when the instructions are written on the sole and (b) I'm not planning on buying a *CONCRETE* boat. I rather think I prefer one made of fiberglass :-)

2. What, three? ;-) Honestly, if I knew how to sail it and had a place to store it, I would get so much more pleasure out of a sailboat. After all, I could sail probably half the weekends a year, and we get around to playing 40K, what, two or three times a year at best? :-)
