questions for Brooke
Aug. 26th, 2004 03:50 pmI'm going to do all these as separate posts, person by person; if anyone wants me to filter theirs, just let me know.
1. What drew you to Dave first?
2. What exactly *is* it that you do?
3. Are you going to stay a Caps fan when you move to AZ?
4. How do Guinness and Murhpy get on with Dave? (not vice versa--I think you've indicated that).
5. Explain your strange fondness for the French. ;-)
BTW, I saw Caroline yesterday. I was coming out of Night Dreams and she was going to the gym with a yoga mat. At least, it looked a lot like her. She smiled in a friendly way and then tried to look like she hadn't.

Date: 2004-08-27 02:31 pm (UTC)2) I'm a legal secretary. I work for 3 litigators and one securities attorney. Basically, I take care of their administrative needs, from making copies and filing to travel and meeting arranging to reconciling bills to editing documents to coordinating filings with various courts to maitaining bar admissions. Other tasks that I do and don't mind are grabbing lunch if someone is stuck on the phone, getting drycleaning if things are getting desperate, helping file Flex Spending reimbursements, keeping my attorneys amused and just enjoying their intellect and good natures. I enjoy who I work for very much.
3) I'll always have a fondness for the Caps, but I do like the Coyotes. And they signed Bret Hull for two years. That's a good thing.
4) They like Dave. They like anyone who is sympathetic to their desperate pleas of hunger and rubs them in just the right way. Especially Guinness.
5) I always loved the language - so pretty and flowing. And I was blessed with a teacher in high school who emphasized the art and beauty of the culture as much as how to conjugate the verbs. It just went from there.
As for Carolyn, I don't miss living with her at all. Or the little Napoleon wannabe.
