Vanessa was sweet and funny, in a politician's daughter kind of way. Alexandra... well, I'm a sap for a pretty brown-haired girl, and I'm a sap when it comes to touching and affecting stories like the ones she told. I was glad that there were a couple of other people in the audiene who were learly getting teary-eyed like me.
The bio was well done. Moving,folksy in a kind of upper class NE way. A bit of humour.I would love to see all that testimony he gave. I wonder if one can find it .
The BoB are a real set of archetypes. The SF guy...I've met guys like that (younger, but some who were in that same war) When a guy like that says the things he did, I'm inclined to listen hard.
Max Cleland. I can't even imagine what it must be like, not just to live 40 years of your life as a triple amputee, but to suddenly find yourself there after having been a young, active man, fighting fit and in combat. He's a strong and effective, heartfelt speaker, too.
