winterbadgerI went to Ikea tonight to finally bust a gift card I got as a work bonus a year or two ago.
When I came out at just before 8pm, the thermostat in my car said that *outside* the car it was 110*F.

I totally exhausted myself getting the heaviest boxes into the car. I think getting them upstairs will wait until I can get a hand from one of my neighbours. But the smaller stuff is upstairs and assembled/in place. New carpets in the dining room and sitting room, new lamp in the sitting room (to match the floor lamp there), new bulbs for both of those (who knew energy-saver bulbs shouldn't go in lamps with rheostats?), some placemats and napkins.

I loves me some Ikea. My entire computer room (except the chairs) is Ikea, and it looks all sleek and nice.
