After having a talk with the trainer in the gym at work, I started on a new exercise program today. I'm aiming for 3-5 cardio sessions a week of at lest 30 minutes each. After two weeks, he wants to re-evaluate and add some weight training. He also recommended drinking more water (at least 64 oz. a day) and snacking between meals, while eating less at the meals themselves. All simple, basic stuff.

So today I started off with 30 minutes on the stair stepper. It was a bit tough, but I got through it without stopping and while managing a pretty steady pace.

Which local gym did you pick? One near work or home? And, if near home, I'm really curious.

Good luck!

I should join a gym too, but they either cost a lot or are enough of a pain to get to that I wouldn't go...

Good luck! "If you have the time, we'll make you sweat" was the slogan from one of our local gyms...

The drinking water thing has gotten way easier for me since I started getting the sparkling water. I don't know, the carbonation just makes the mouth and tummy feel like they're getting something! I probably go through a 2 litre bottle a day easy.
