I love
this site about sea kayaking. Yes, I can barely manage to keep a regular kayak from tipping over, so sea kayaking is quite an ambition for me. But it's an amazing way to be close to nature, be nearly part of the sea, and to travel with the bare essentials across wind and water to see some amazing places. They've been a lot of the places I've traveled either on land or during my sailing trip last autumn; they've been a lot of other places that I'd love to go.

ban_leodhasach sent me a link to this video of a ship experiencing some rough seas. It's a *car ferry* that's pitching like that, on the passage between Wellington (North Island, NZ) and Picton (South Island, NZ). It's a ship that used to travel across the Minch, the bit of sea between the Outer Hebrides and the Scottish mainland.
