So, in the end, the limit of my debauchery was staying up late watching "Tinker, Tailor" and drinking (a moderate quantity of) scotch. Because I have rather a long day today at work, and it wouldn't be improved by a hangover.

I reckoned without my cats. Who woke me almost every hour on the hour, all night, fighting or running at high speed up and down, including across me. I didn't, actually, fling any of them out the window, or even across the room. But I confess at times it was tempting.

And it's warm and humid this morning. Oh, joy...

Good (about the moderate amount of Scotch). I did something similar with absinthe, and then went for a walk. It was very warm and humid last night, with lots of heat lightning.
