I'm having a bit of a spring clean, and I'm sweeping out the cat toys from under all the furniture. Clocked nearly a dozen jingly balls so far, and about half a dozen toy mice (or pikas).

And the one of my five watches that until recently was (a) working properly and (b) had a wristband that fit me.

I had looked everywhere for it. I thought. Everywhere I could imagine putting it.

Somehow I don't think I put it under the DVD shelves in the far corner of the living room. Just doesn't seem like the sort of spot that would say to me "Look, pop it here and you'll never forget to grab it just as you're going out the door in the morning."

Little bastards.

It always astonishes me that PetCo opens franchises under my sofa. But there's really no other explanation for the number of jingly balls I find there!

Do they still like the toy I brought, or has it been demolished? Perdita is still enamored of the Little Red Bug.

Hee hee - you never know - your cats may be the first that can actually read time! Have they been particularly punctual at feeding times??

The toy you brought is the Most Popular Toy in History. It has been repaired several times, and it is still Busby's go-to toy. :-)
