Wrinkle in Time

This has the potential to be decent or very bad... I'm always worried by adaptations of books that I'm very fond of. I hope that they didn't massacre it too much.

Do I ever agree with you on this one - where are Meg's glasses??? They are instrumental to the final conflict!! Is this going to lead to more stories about the Murrays? What about the Austins? Lots of good material there....

I caught part of it. Jan, did you by any chance Tivo it? What I saw I liked, but part of me is kinda like, "ACK - this isn't how I thought it was!!" I thought the casting of Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Which was brilliant. I'm a big fan of both Woodard and Nelligan.

WIT remains my favorite book from my childhood, to the point where I'll reread it every few years. Strange that they just now are making it into a movie.

I left a voicemail for Chris asking her to TiVo it, since I wasn't going to be home until later, but she never got it (she has this thing about turning her cell phone off...), so she didn't get teh message.

Did you read any of MlE's sequels? THey are also very good.

I remember my math teacher in ?6th? grade reading us WiT. Very cool...
