But, then, I'd rather be a few pounds heavier and have such a friendly cat than be lighter and by myself. :-)

Are you sure the cat is being affectionate rather than, say, attempting to demonstrate to you that it is STARVING because you NEVER FEED IT and thus its flesh is MELTING OFF ITS KITTY BONES?

That's what Perdita usually implies, at least. :)

It's Busby, and having met him, you will understand when I say that it's petting he is after, and he can NEVER have enough! :-)

Gilbert, of course, can never have enough food (though he doesn't eat much when given the opportunity--it's really the opportunity he wants), but he will never lower himself to cuddle for it. He simply demands it, loudly!

BTW, I have to say, the cat dancer you brought us? Best present from visiting friend EVER! It is still creating hours of delight (and exercise) for various kitties!
