Last week or two, scale has reliably said "weight X" plus or minus a pound or two. Yesterday morning it said "weight X-5" and I was very pleased that starting to get some more exercise and eating more sensibly was having some effect. I double-checked, just to be sure.

Then this morning I checked, and it was back to "weight X". Dude, I did not eat five pounds of food yesterday!

Welcome to being a woman, where my weight can fluctuate up to 7 pounds when it's my special time of the month on water weight alone. :/

I hear you. I somehow gained five pounds in the last few months and I have no idea why. I try not to worry about it, but I'm not getting any younger and some of the health problems I am likely to develop (thanks, Mom and Dad! - I appreciate the college education, but high cholesterol I can live without) are less likely if I keep the weight down.

This is why weighing in less often might be a good idea.

Oh. Then disregard my previous comment. ;-)

Scales are lying liars. Who lie.

I hates 'em.
