I really don't get it at this point. I can't see how, as a rational adult, she thinks she can possibly win at this point, and I don't understand why she would think that dragging this out in an ugly slanging match would be to her benefit. The more she and her husband insult and belittle Obama and his supporters, the harder it is for anyone to accept her as part of the team (in whatever position) going forward from here.
I think Gary Hart was the last Democratic nominee who was this disconnected from reality when it came to the basics of politics (a pity, as he was very smart about some things), and he didn't have 2/5 of the party behind him. I can see this leading to McCain and four more years of Republicans in the White House, at which point I will be leaving. UK? Canada? Ancestry visa to the Netherlands? I'll grasp at any straw...
