They had some of those in development, but then they all mysteriously disappeared. Nobody knows exactly why, or who made them go away, but it doesn't really matter, as the head of Playmobil has said it was OK for them to manufacture them, they've just decided not to.
I'm not seeing any little Playmobile tasers, or one of the female Playmobilians (?) being felt up, or some poor guy in a headscarf being dragged into a side room for a 'conversation'.
I think there are still some who would like to think that all this ridiculous hullabaloo about "security" (which makes travel tiresome and unpleasant for many but doesn't ever seem to stop pranksters or forgetful law enforcement officers from carrying heavy-duty weapons into the boarding area) is panic-induced BS that will someday go away, not become so ingrained in daily life that people accept it as "normal" and something that ends up being as much of a playset topic as front-loaders and dumptrucks.
Oh, THAT makes sense. Let's just pick on the people who are most inconvenienced, despite the fact that the only person I've ever heard to have actually *tried* to hide explosives was wearing shoes... *sigh*
