The festival of the Lord Ganesh starts tomorrow! Since he is the Lord of Letters and the Creator of Categories, I think he is a perfect deity for editors, analysts, and indexers. I am adopting him forthwith! :-)

Tomorrow I will be off at the Virginia Scottish Games with a couple (perhaps literally a couple) of blokes from my reenacting group. If you've free time and you're in the area, come check it out!

Sunday I'm running lines for two more CCSL matches. I've just about recovered from last weekend...

I *really* need to lose weight, so I'm redoubling my efforts to swear off sweets, replace more starch in my diet with veg, look for low-fat options, and cut back on alcohol. And starting next week I'm going back to getting at least half an hour of exercise a day; if I can't run or cycle, I'll do calisthenics and stretching or yoga or something. But the Bulge has got to go!

I picked up my reenacting gear from Highland Lane this afternoon. Still there: a rug I need to sell, my (reenacting) tent poles, some Xmas ornaments, and boards for wargaming that I need to either take away or dispose of.

OK, lessee how much I can get done in the last hour of work...
