Shindell is a wonderful songwriter and an elegant and passionate guitarist, IMO. If you like the tracks he has clips of on his site, you will almost certainly have an excellent time if you see him in person.

I had plans to see him in a house concert in Sussex. The folks running it do a series, and I know them from the Dar Williams UK list. I've been meaning to get to one of their events, but they're usually Sunday nights. With the drive back, that's not a good night.

They have Richard there on the last Friday in August, which I thought would be good -- except there's a big SCA event at Raglan Castle starting that night, and we're planning to be there. Oh well.
