I am *still* convinced the Sun is tryign to kill me, but maybe it is trying to lure me out into the killing zone with the promise of Vitamin D...

tis just a matter of balancing "enough to give you Vit D" without "more than enough to give you skin cancer".

I do NOT wear sunscreen on a daily basis. I live in Scotland (northerly climes - not much UV) and I spend most of the day indoors. I doubt that I could get skin cancer from the short time I spend outdoors. If I'm going south or planning to be outdoors for much of the day, I'll wear sunscreen and be prepared to cover up. I don't get much of a tan - barely going from "ivory" to "beige" most summers - but I don't get sunburned either.
