So is Netflix worth it? I've been getting bombarded with spam and ads and can't see how they're making money. :)

They make a lot of money off me, because I borrow movies, then never get around to watching them. And I gather I'm not alone. :-)

They're worth it IMO if you have no good video stores around at all or if you're addicted to stuff you can't get at Blockbuster (redactrice is an Upstairs Downstairs addict, and the local library doesn't buy those...) If neither of those apply, then, no, probably not worth it.
