Yep, this is definitely bird-time of day. Half a dozen sparrows of two kinds and a woodpecker!

EDIT: Plus cardinals, a dozen robins in my driveway, some morning doves, and a flock of starlings in the Persian Doctor's front yard.

Robins? oh, wait.. you have GRASS. I've only had robins when my berries ripened last year (didn't see any robins this year or as much of a late season feeding frenzy. I've had tons of birds today and just bought 40lbs of bird food + a suet thing.

Nope, no grass, just leaves and gravel, but they seemed to be having a good time in that. Next door has grass, but the robins seem to like turnign over the leave around my driveway.

probably looking for bugs. I should have said 'yard' since Robins are usually ground eaters. oooo. Pretty stripey head bird. I think someone identified it for me.... white thrated something maybe
