*glows with pleasure*
Dec. 17th, 2006 10:52 pmI was feeling a bit down earlier, in part because I had failed to catch up with some reading for my class that I missed during my trip (took the wrong books). However, after some dinner (after which I felt better; I think partly I must just have been feeling low for lack of energy), I buckled down and finished reading what I needed to and made notes for my writing assignment this week. I signed onto the class board just now to start writing it, and found this comment from the professor on my writing for the first week: "Your postings in both units were easily among the best... you are obviously going to be one of the two or three key sustainers of some of the more complex, nuanced, and insightful discussion over the next several weeks."
*head swells to gigantic size*
Not going to be easy to live up to that kind of praise...

Date: 2006-12-18 05:43 pm (UTC)I must say, you are one of the most sensible, practical, and effective-at-getting-things-done people *I* know, and I am grateful to have *you* as a friend. You are marvelously honest and forthright, while still compassionate and warm-hearted, and I think that's pretty remarkable.
